Todays Hike in Ramapo State Park
Here are a couple photos from our hike today. I accidentally deleted the entry from this morning. I'm still getting used to this whole blogging thing. Anyway we took the dogs to Ramapo state park off of Rt287 near Oakland. It was a beautiful day for february. There is a very cool "castle" on the top of one of the hills in the park which you can get to by marked trail. Otis pretty much pulled Suzie up the mountain he was so excited, but it sucked because her back still hurt and the trails were wet and treacherous... making her extremely slow.
But overall, it was a nice trip. I forget how much i love getting out with Suzie and the dogs. I saw a few dogs off the leash and was a little jealous. They stood obediently next to their owners while Buka and Otis pulled so hard they sounded like they were choking. Their collars were giving them dandruff because they were rubbing so hard on their necks. You can see Suzie gripping them pretty hard. This was on top of the mountain. She looks like a Sherpa.
